Needles from the Haystack #1 – 11/2017

Needles from the Haystack

Hey There,

Here’s the first edition of my monthly „Needles from the Haystack“ – newsletter.

I think there is something worth consuming for everybody in here. Enjoy!

13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do – Amy Morin @ James Altucher – Show

Amy Morin is a psychologist who learned to be mentally strong from her own life. Intense story!

That’s why she knows what she is talking about.

James and Amy go through all of those 13 items and I bet you, that there is something you will find helpful in there.

Even if you don’t think you’d need it.

Lessons From Steve Jobs, Leonardo Da Vinci and Ben Franklin – Walter Isaacson @ Tim Ferris – Show

Walter Isaacson had quite a career: University professor, Chairman of the Aspen Institute, CEO of CNN and editor of Time Magazine. Not bad.

And he wrote biographies on some the biggest of personalities in the world starting with Leonardo Da Vinci. All reviewed with 4.5 stars on Amazon.

The guy just has interesting things to talk about. Probably for days. So these 85’ish minutes will just fly by.

Good stuff!

The Ultimate Guide to Improving Your Posture – Brett and Kate McKay

My newsletter won’t have exercise advice too often. But this one hit home first and helped second.

Sitting on a desk for most of most days influences your posture. Not in a good way.

This guide gives great advice on how to reverse that. #WorthDoing

Cognitive Restructuring: The Complete Guide on How to Reframe Your Beliefs – Steven Handel

There’s always more than one way to look at what happens to you in life. But we tend to prefer the negative version and struggle to change that pattern. That doesn’t serve us well.

This article helps you to think in a more constructive – and not destructive – manner about your challenges.

See what I did there?

And that was it for October 2017.

If you think I did a good job in selecting the content, feel free to share it with your peeps.

I’d love to send more people useful stuff!

Keep well!
